Crazy Yummy Dessert
Hold onto those hotpots, prepare those toes for some curling action and start doing the crazy yummy dessert dance (instructions for this will feature in next weeks blog). This is the ultimate camping dessert, brought all the way from Ireland. Its one that should only be made once the wee ones have closed their peepers and sent their imaginations to play with the sleep fairy.
Of course, I’ve mounted a strong case for making this whilst not camping. Carole said “No” I said, “perhaps if we toast the marshmallows over the BBQ…” she said “No” I said, “what if we …” she said in her no bull-poo Northern Irish accent “Emily! On”
I thought, bummer!
You will need
2 x Marshmallows (Pascals brand, let’s face it, nobody else makes marshmallows like Pascals)
2 x McVities chocolate digestive biscuits (like Granitas but better and covered in chocolate), available from most supermarkets
A dentist
Steps to toe curling goodness
Toast 2 marshmallows over fire on stick/ skewer if you don’t like bits of wood (your not going to notice tho)
When slightly brown on all sides sandwich the marshmallows between the 2 chocolate biscuits, chocolate side down.
Eat and let the toes do the rest!
